Anyone seen or have a pair of these?

These binos were shown to me by a colleague who has been asked to sell them by the owner. They are Zeiss 7x50B porro prism and from what I've found so far it appears that they are an early 80's maritime model, nitrogen filled and it appears that they may still be in production. They have retained caps and individual eyepiece focussing (which seems a little tight). I have tried them out and the optics are excellent and very good quality. 7.1mm exit pupil and - apparently - the B designation means suitable for spectacle wearers (although I found them better without), 17.3mm eye relief and 7.3 degree FOV. Has original case and cleaning cloth.

Used them on an ISS pass on Monday night, plus Jupiter (3 moons visible) and Venus (could just see the phase). Collimation appears to be spot on, no obvious colour fringing towards the edge of field. Would like to try them under a dark sky, but that's not likely at the moment...

Subsequently, my colleague also found out that they originally came from an SAS member (don't know whether that is documented or not, though)!

Any thoughts on what these may be worth? Found one pair similar on eBay for £599 reserve and another at a specialist in Germany for about £640. The current model seems to retail at around £1400.
