Jupiter and Venus conjunction 30/6/15

Hi all.

Here's a few pics from last night.

Wide field pics taken with the Nikon D5000 and the closeups with the QHY5L-II and ED80.

Had to be a composite to do them both justice but of course feels a bit like it's cheating as you could just take a couple of random images and photoshop them as close as you'd like!

Hence I have also included the two original stacks that the composite is made from. (The three images side by side)

What was quite interesting is that the apparent angular separation had changed by quite a bit even between the two images the composite is made from!
