My attempt today. I only managed this before having to panic close the observatory as one heck of a rain storm came over. That's the problem when your busy staring at a lappy screen in a blacked out warm room, one doesn't notice the sneaky black clouds bypassing the sun and sneaking up on you to drop rain on your scope

I just got set up when the rain came

Nice pictures Phil! A pleasure to look at!

All clouds are sneaky! But, the black clouds are the sneakiest 💨💦

They usually come from the opposite way you are looking 👀, then bosh,💦

You need some sort of periscope rising up from your warm room! 😄

Cheers chaps.

I need to look through the blackout curtains occasionally. When the image of the sun is on screen and its raining on the gear its very confusing :D
