Stellarium v13.3 problems too much info - how to switch off

to those of you that are going to install Stellarium or upgrade there are new,in v13.3, features that ,IMHO, are too much info and cannot simply be controlled.

 

This release has introduced new Cat's - Dark Neb and others which make the screen unreadable. Worst still you cannot easily control the output with traditional slide controls. However there is a way round this (thanks too SGL and others). Rename the new cat's(ending .txt - you may have to alter the folder view to see this extn) or if feeling brave delete the files. The Graphics software has also been updated which may slow down you laptop (especially older ones) or stop working altogether - progress I guess.

 

Or just not update or use an older version.
