Guest HykehamObservatory

On Tuesday 4th August we have Michael Czajkowski from the Open University coming to us. He is talking on-“Water in the Solar Systemâ€. Michael says “Liquid water is important for life and is a scarce commodity in the Solar System though ice is very common. The talk will look at the distribution of water and ice and try and explain why we find it where we do. It will then concentrate on the origin of earth’s water and will briefly include information on the workings of Rosettaâ€.

The lecture is at our Westcliffe Street observatory and starts at 7-30pm. Visitors are welcome. See www.lincolnastronomy.org for more details.
