Popular Post StuartJPP Posted September 19, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted September 19, 2015 Took my kit on holiday this week to Fuerteventura, this was just a "regular" package holiday for both myself and the OH...however just past midnight, skies permitting, I would sneak out of the hotel in search of pleasures of the night sky (with her permission of course). It isn't an ideal location due to the light pollution and the wind but I have managed to find a fairly decent spot, that is until the cloud meanders in just after setting everything up! Unfortunately this time of year isn't ideal from where I usually image as I can only image to the East and South...not much about at the moment in those parts of the sky at the times I get out. Orion is only rising at about 3am so doesn't give much time on it. A month from now would be much better... Baader modified Canon 6D @ ISO400 Canon 500mm f/4 L IS @ f/4 Avalon Instruments M-Zero 25x 300 Second subs. Usual darks, flats and bias. Thanks for looking...(click image for a larger version)... Great image Stuart.Cheating slightly because it is about 25 degrees higher in the sky at their latitude...which probably equates to about a month from now for us in the UK.
