Rob`s Obsy build

hi all,

thought i`d share some of my observatory build with you, been taking a long time to do as work keeps getting in the way, but as work is starting to drop off i`ve more time to hopefully get it finished for the winter season.

it was bought second hand from a guy off e bay and it about killed my brother and me to getting it home as it is big, 10` x 8`, and was very over enginered and weighed a ton, litteraly,

i decided to use some council slabs i had lying around which were 2" think for the base which was layed onto hardcore, which also had lying about, and cement. i used hardcore for the middle as it supports the obsy base flooring and when i want to fit the pier i can easily dig it out fill with concrete.

and then the obsy base frame work went down.

Nice one rob, i can see it's all starting to come together now. I think i'm going to steal your idea for the base as i've got about 40 of those council concrete slabs up against the wall in my back yard doing nothing :) looking forward to seeing the updates :) may the weather be with you lol
