after a few head scratches and alot of cursing, i`ve finally managed to fit the Skywatcher autofocuser to my Starwave 80.

at the moment it works very well and i`m very pleased with myself L.O.L.

so here are the photos.

firstly remove the little ali adapter that is fitted to the autofocuser shaft.

just fitted the hitecastro dc focuser unit to the mount and usb hub, now fully controlled by ascom on the computer, works very well with APT software also.

should make live alittle easier when trying to focus on my own.

i`ve got a picture of the bracket length that might be usefull,

i`ve also packed out the smaller spindle on the focuser side by wrapping some duck tape around the spindle a few times, i wasn`t 100% certain it would work but having tightened the two grub screws it looks to be holding it very firmly indeed. connecting spindle looks alot better and horizontal now.
