Quick M81/82, Mount and OAG test

Finally its all back together. The observatory mount (old CGE) was set up, polar aligned and calibrated during the short clear spell and all is working nicely with the anti condensation heater ticking away nicely preventing (hopefully) any more condensation/electronics problems in this awful weather.

Also I wanted to check out the Off Axis Guider on actual stars. Previously I had set the spacing up during daylight so that both imaging (Atik 314L+ OSC) and guiding (QHY5 mono) cameras focused together so it was a matter of getting an actual star in the fov. It all worked and came to focus using the WO Mk4 flattener/reducer and I was a happy bunny.

I could see the clouds bowling in from the SW so had a bash at a bright subject and went for M81/82. Managed 20 minutes of 5 minute subs before oranged out by cloud.

The SN in M82 has been blown out by processing but that wasn't the target really so not that fussed. I am pleased about the guiding and there is only one more thing to do..... try and answer why I had not gone for OAG before :facepalm2: Once sorted it just makes total sense.
