DIY Balance system for Meade LX200 16"

Been making the plate to fit the new counterbalance (ED80) under the LX200 16" since the solar scope has left it all a bit unbalanced :D as you do, who wouldn't buy an ED80 instead of a weight??

Just need to slightly modify the radius blocks and it should all bolt together nicely. Holes are spaced so as to allow the scope to move in the rings by the same amount, thus meaning I can put it anywhere along the length with minute adjustment if needed.

The ED80 is now fitted using my custom made plate rather than the £380 kit!

Just needs aligning with the main scope on a clear night.
