hello
my name is paul
i live in midland GB

i just had a gift from work for long service (40 years) and choice was limited from a catalogue
the best scope they had (which i think it was) is bushnell north star 78-8840 with 2 eye pieces 4mm and 25mm i also got
Celestron 1.25" Telescope Eyepiece & Filter Kit from e bay with a 2x barlow len i also got from ebay
Celestron X-CEL LX Telescope 3x Barlow Lens - 1.25" fitting - 3 element design, both brand new and a lot cheaper from our shops
i also own a canon 700D camera
i am also looking round for somthing that called t mount so i could take pictures of the stars /moons / maybe sun
and i dont have a clue what else iam looking for to fit my camera to it
i have never done any astronomy before i am just getting to grip with using the scope looking at surrounding areas
to get the feel of it all iam using the remote to move the telescope
it maybe a while before i get back here as iam still working long shifts

Hi Paul and welcome to EMS. That lot of kit should get you started. Any questions you may have pop a question in the relevant section and somebody will be along shortly with an answer.

In the meantime I hope you enjoy the forum.
