My first night out in at least 6 months and I'm Frozen.....

But really guys, I'm surprised how much I missed it.

Off the top of my head I saw:

M15

M76

M81

M82

M39

Ngc752

M34

M33

M36

M37
M38

M35

Ngc2371

Ngc2392

M45

M42

M43

M78

I think that's about it.

All seen with a UWAN 28mm and 16mm.

Nice one Mick, how did you manage that, it was blowing a right gale here?

I'm in a pretty sheltered spot on the patio, have cover on three sides.

Nice one doc. Thankfully my back gardens sheltered from the wind too:-

Eskimo nebula,

M35,

M37,

M36,

M38,

M43, revisited several times as it just looked stunning.

M45,

M1,

M50,

M46,

M47,

M48,

M78,

And a quick look at Jupiter as well.

Think I bagged more last night than I did at Kelling. Didn't think I'd find M1 from my light polluted garden but the setting circles sure worked.

You obviously had a wonderful session Mick :) I've tried to see ngc2371 but never properly identified it. Did you see both lobes or just an oval?

With prolonged viewing at times you could see two seperate lobes during times of good seeing but it was hard.

That sounds really good considering it is a 13th mag fuzzy and you were at home and not at a dark site  .
