Guest ben72 Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 hi all, just got myself an spc900nc and downloaded fire capture to use for planetary imaging. my problem is when i launch fire capture i get a message box saying no camera connected. ive tried the camera in sharpcap and i am getting an image so the camera IS working, but quality is pants. any advice??? red dwalf Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 hi Ben, firecapture is a funny program as it doesn't install any files, you need to download the files and put them in a folder in c/ programs, if you open up the downloaded firecapture files in the new folder you will see alot of exe files, yellow ones that look like they have a picture of jupiter on. one of these says firecapture webcam, make a shortcut to your desktop, and click on it, with luck it should run your webcam. the other exe files are for different cameras.
