and complmentary image (courtesy or Antares Paul)

If Mike can have a complementary labelled image can we all? :D  :P .

I love the addition of this as it shows actually how much we are able to pick with our imaging rigs from suburban skies. the technology we have today is awesome is it not?!

Firstly thank you for all the wonderful entries submitted for April's PoTM.

Once again every entry is great and every entry has it's own level of experience to consider.

For me two entries really stood out and they were PhilJ's solar image and Johnnyaardvarks M51 widefield.

After a lot of thinking about it, the winner of April 2015 PoTM is Johnnyaardvark's M51.

Well done Steve  :clap2:

Thank you for the kind comments. So many super images submitted this month so feel I have been a little lucky  but thank you very much. :)

Rounds off the month very nicely astrophotography wise as had the pleasant surprise of having one of my solar eclipse pictures selected for the Sky at Night April gallery too!

Just over a year a go didn't even have my own scope but was just starting to learn a few basics and finding my feet using Ibbo's ED80 on an old EQ5. Thanks all!

Well done to every one who submitted... there is some great talent around!

Best wishes

Steve

Nice one Steve, a well framed image. All of the entries this month were great though, glad I didn't have to choose!
