Useful Links for Solar

Thought I would start the new section off with a few useful links for those who dabble in the lighter side of Astronomy.

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/home.html NASA's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. Many useful pages on there, my most frequently used page is this one: http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/sunspots/ which is updated every few minutes or so.

http://halpha.nso.edu/ GONG H-Alpha Network. A network of H-Alpha scopes throughout the world that update with almost live images of the Sun. Especially good for showing folks who say "the Sun is quiet at the moment."

http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/communities/space-weather-enthusiasts Space Weather Prediction Center. Useful for predictions about Aurora etc.

Those are the three I use most frequently. There are a great many others out there though.
