Johnnyaardvark Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 What a lovely evening. Cloud spoilt play a few times but had a great view through the ed80. Used 18mm starguider and 13mm hyperion. Very nice to see both one same eyepiece... cool indeed :-) Got the other half to have a look and she was impressed too. Not bad for her 1st view of Venus! Had a go at imaging with the qhy cam... Got them both in the field of view but of course seeing was pretty aweful and very different brightness so not sure I have any useful data but will have a play.
