Long Eaton Astronomical Society Meeting June 25th - Human Spaceflight.

Recommended Posts

The next meeting of the Long Eaton Astronomical Society is on Thursday 25th June at the usual time of 6:30pm. Our talk for the evening will be lead by Mr M. Perkins of the school on the subject of Human Spaceflight. This replaces the previously advertised talk on astronomical distances that has had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Mr Perkins will guide us through a brief history of human spaceflight from the first manned mission through to what the future might hold.

The meeting starts at 6:30pm with refreshments from 6:15pm. If the weather allows there will be chance to observe the Sun prior to the start of the talk. As always all are welcome, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Members free and visitors welcome for a suggested donation of £2 towards refreshments etc.
