+Graham Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Anyone know how to reflash a QHY5ll. Mine has just died no warning just went off. Done some reading and it seems it is a common problem. One chap wrote...........(Orpington Astronomical society) "QHY sent me a program and instructions to reflash the EEPROM - very helpful and prompt service." That was 4 years ago but it's worth a try by writing as their web site no longer contains details on how to reflash. I have run a couple of tests on mine and I am afraid in the words of Python It is dead Deceased No more It is an ex parrot well camera. Got to send it back for an exchange unit.
