My New Eyepiece Collection

Doc

Recommended Posts

My new eyepiece collection a full set of Televue Delos plus the 31mm Nagler.

I also bought at very low price a Skeleton case, used mainly for DJ equipment, It arrived the other day and it's huge, so not sure if I should use it. I'll cut the foam out and put them in place and then decide.

I didn't expect the case to be so big, but once in they look pretty good.

Even the wife would have her suspicions if I said I only spent £30

Impressive line up there Mick, watch you don't sprain yourself lugging that lot around! 😓

Can you say you are sorted now Mick, EP wise? 😉 your wish list must have shrunk a bit!

Eyepiece wise I think that's it for a while, next on my list is a good diagonal.

That looks to be a good range of eyepieces. If you did get one though, which one?

Do you not run barlows?

Yup - I'm planning to go to WW on the 8th - been looking forward to seeing everyone again - it's been over a year I reckon.

Dunno what kit I'm bringing - something light... maybe just the bins - not in the best of shape at the moment. :)

I would get the click lock one, the 2" cream coloured one.

But what I really want is the Amici Baader/Zeiss one so it's the correct image, much better for star hopping and working your way round the moon, only problem is it's mega bucks.

And No I never use barlows, I've never found one that doesn't darken the image, maybe powermates come close but still prefer no barlow.

Thats a very nice looking set of expensive glass you have there Mick.

It's took me a long to get up to these Graham but I'm well chuffed.

I should think you are Mick.

Not that I have any idea of such objects myself.

You most likely could knock one of these up with your eyes shut and one arm behind your back Graham

They look brilliant and the big Nagler just complements the Delos. :2thumbsup:

That box is also nice and gigantic.

When Mick said he was going green, I thought he was on an environmental kick. :D
