The next society lecture will be on Tuesday 1st September.


The speaker will be Dr Andrew Norton FRAS of the Open University. His talk is 'GAIA: Mapping the Galaxy'. A multimedia-rich lecture about the recently launched ESA mission GAIA which will map a billion stars in the Galaxy over the next five years.


 


The lecture is at our Westcliffe Street observatory and starts at 7-30pm. Visitors are welcome. See www.lincolnastronomy.org for more details.
