Philips SP900NC webcam Replacement ?

Hi Guys

I have a Philips SP900NC webcam that I have used in the past for planetary imaging through my 10†Newt.

I no longer have my old laptop which was running Windows XP.My new laptop runs Windows 10 and unfortunately the software driver for the Philips SP900NC will not run on any operating system newer than XP.

It would appear that I need a new webcam for planetary imaging and was wondering whether any of you guys can suggest a replacement.

Thanks in advance

Graham

I too used an SPC900NC camera with XP. I changed my computer to Windows 7 and now run it using K3CCD3 software . I also run the ASI120 camera with FireCapture software. Its difficult to say which is better. The ASI120 has a much higher frame rate and more pixels but from my location the sky evens things out.

I am not sure whether the Windows7 driver for the SPC900NC will run on Windows 10 but it is worth a try as is downloading K3CCD3 which is free for a month.
