Iffy wide field with new lens......

Bit murky last night from the DDAS observatory.

Lots of wispy cloud & a bit of mist around.

The evening looked promising early on, but got quite cloudy.

This is a 1.3 second single image, using my Sony A7s, and Astrotrac mount.

Been trying out my new lens, a Samyang 24mm F1.4 prime. (used F/8 and iso 12800.

I need to improve my polar alignment which was pretty rubbish, and i'm struggling with the Astrotracs polariscope.

You can see M31 Andromeda in the centre of the image.

Nice shot, shows how big andromeda galaxy is. shame about the clouds. Wide field imagery would be something I would like to get into.

Keep posting more
