Very nice Rob if stays clear tonight up at Studfold going to give that a go myself but the new camera and Ha filter really bring out the detail

Very nice Rob. It might get done to death, but there is always something different to see in the various images.


The best view of it I had visually was at Kelling with either a Ha, or Hb filter. (One of Phil's). It was almost three D and looked like green/grey candy floss.

Thanks all, I'm amazed how much fainter nebulosity in M42 the camera has picked up, I've never seen this before with any of my other equipment, really looking forward to giving this a lot more time.

Last night was lovely here Graham, everything was looking good, only a few short stops for a cloud or two, I was off work so stayed up till the wee hours, roll on more nights like that.
