I have just orderd a 120mm refractor on a EQ3-2 mount, I know I will have to upgrade this mount at some point but I scetch so nothing to heavy hanging off the focuser. This also leaves some funds for a new pair of binoculars. So sorry guys expect cloudy skies...

Nice one, congrats on the purchase. I don't know if this is any good for you or not, but FLO are selling the EQ5 PRO sync scan goto for £486. Don't know if that is a good price or not!

Nice one Dave, glad you found what you wanted. Look forward to seeing it when we next meet up.

Cheers guys. its a skywatcher and I will give the mount a go and how we get on, and Mark looking at the forecast this weekend is a no go ! me and paul are going to try and fit motor drives to the mount if you fancy popping up to sutton to give a hand ?

Congrats Dave, that combo is what got me back into astronomy. Mine was an ST120 on EQ3 and it was a great combo, the scope size is perfect for the mount so wont overload it, unless you get some Naglers that is :)

So thats an 80mm refractor a 90mm refractor and now a 120mm refractor in your sig, a man after my own heart Dave :) Whats next a 150mm ;)

The 90s been sold now to fund this one. The next job is polar scope for the mount and then motors. Oh and a focuser.
