Do any of them suffer “Amp Glow†? My old 350D suffered from amp glow which was quite a pain as taking darks did not seem to get rid of the problem. However I bought a double battery pack which fits under the camera and has an empty plastic piece so reduces any battery heat there is. battery pack was £29.99 from Amazon. animaal Posted December 9, 2015 Share Posted December 9, 2015 I have both the 1000 and 450d, and I haven't noticed amp glow from either, once the display on the back is turned off. You can also buy a power cable to plug either camera into a 12v cigarette socket.
