Well had a clear sky for 20 mins!!


Tried the 50mm f1.8 on the Canon 1100d using the SW Adventurer mount.


5x50sec  no darks or flats. (dust bunnies yet to clean!!)

Good aren't they Ron. Mine doesn't give spikes though :D  :D


 


Hang on..... I just reread  your post Ron, F1.8. Those are well shaped stars at that, I find I have to stop down to F4 to get sharp stars

Checked Phil, exposure says f4 so it's the same as yours but really happy with it so far!

If you look very closely, you can see Barnard's E, B142 and B143, dark nebulae.
