I was unaware that the Andromeda Galaxy was the furthest we could see unaided, interesting to read the comments that seem to be full of 'flat earthers' lol

It's also interesting to note that M31 is the only galaxy that can be seen with the naked eye. But you do need a very dark site, full eye adaption and clear, transparent viewing. :)

Not forgetting our Milky Way - can;t see it all but you can still see it with your own eye's.

Allegedly you can see M33 naked eye which is around 2.7 million LY away, but you need eyes like Eddy for that, my clapped out peepers can only do that with Binoculars.
