Guest Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 I got my inspiration from a magazine by Phil Harrington in 2001. I built my own solar filters. Although I intend to photograph the Sun through telescopes, I check the Sun through my filtered 15x70 binoculars more often. Sometimes I'm too busy or there's a lot of cloud around.
