Had a very good night viewing M51 was very clear all so Jupiter was the best I have seen it for ages, The blue snowball was living up to its name, I found that  my 51Nig gave me some of the best viewing specially on the likes of M82 M81 double clusters were very bright giving me good colour

Sounds like a great night Stephen. I was out earlier on, then the clouds came over about 21.00 so came in. What's a 51Nig Stephen.

Glad you got out and enjoyed the brief window Stephen! ?

Its been a poor few months...

It did make a nice change to see some stars etc last night! ?

I watched the ISS go over at 17.30 and 19.05pm, I let a few friends and family know about the 19.05pm one and they enjoyed watching it too. The moon looked fab just after sunset, then I went to my local observatory to attend a lecture and also went out with the bins until cloud rolled in.

Most enjoyable, a promise of clear skies I hope!
