I went out about 9pm, but was only using my little st80. Did manage to see M51 with it although it only appeared as a couple of small grey smudges. Open clusters are good in the st80 and I had some good views of the double cluster, Kemble's cascade, M35, M44. M35 was good with NGC 2158 appearing as a grey smudge next to it.

I even found M1, but if I didn't know exactly where to look, I don't think I would have found it, as it was very feint.

I couldn't get enough magnification to see any detail on Mars, but Saturn looked nice even at low magnification.

The mount I'm using is terrible so I'm thinking of getting an AZ 4 to make a good grab & go setup.
