It shows up very well in the 15x70s in a transparent sky, but dissappears completely into the murk on anything but the best nights. In the binoculars a lot of stars can be resolved in a nebulous background. My ST120 gives a superb view of it. You also have Trumpler 2 and NGC 663 in the picture.
