Just messing last night between clouds

Scope = Towa 339 c1974 80mm achro camera = Nikon Df at native F15 FL

Image reduced to fit on here but not cropped

Nice shot. I do a few lunar shots with just the camera when I feel too tired or lazy to lug my Mak out.

 

This is better than mine, though.

For an old scope that is pretty impressive Phil.

The details are fantastic, really crisp and sharp.

Cheers guys. 

The optics on this scope can beat a heck of alot of modern scopes hands down. The Japanese Towa objective has superb figuring, polishing and coatings, couple that with f15 and the image quality surpasses alot of apo scopes on the market today.

I dont use this scope often enough, should try harder :-)
