I was born in 1966 so it's been up there for as long as I've been around. What an amazing photo this is.

I did not think they could get down to that sort of resolution!

Of course, they are all either photoshopped or are real alien artifacts and activities. :D

 

It is marvellous that we can actually see this evidence of human activity on another world.

The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been sending all this good stuff back. The resolution is down to something like 15 metres now it has gone a bit lower. There is one of the big craters, Tyhco or Copernicus and you can zoom right in to the central mountain and see boulders which have rolled down the slopes.
