Good for you Stephen, glad you had a long enough break in the clouds to see them.

The seeing conditions must have been pretty good too.

No chance around here, just thick cloud, torrential rain, hailstones, thunder and lightning!

Sounds like you had some great seeing to get those details Stephen. :thumbsup:

 

I had a short 15x70 binocular session late last night, since I'm down in Sunny Kent at the moment. The moon looked great, and I got a superb view of Jupiter with all four moons pin sharp. Most other targets were drowned by the moonshine. Tonight's forecast is looking good. :)

Lucky you, like Steve said above, nothing but cloud and rain up here.....

I saw a little of the moon last night, just behind a thin cloud in between showers.

 

On a positive note, the garden hasn't needed watering...
