Popular Post Werisit Posted June 19, 2016 Popular Post Share Posted June 19, 2016 After a dull and dreary day the sky cleared to reveal a remarkably steady atmosphere. That very morning I'd bought a new mount (ioptron AZ Mount Pro) to allow easier set-up anywhere in my garden. First lining up on Jupiter well before dark, I had plenty of time so got out the planetary cam (ASI120). After getting my fill of Jupiter, Mars had just come into view through a gap between trees. When Mars was lost behind the house Saturn was just nicely placed. So I was very lucky to be able to take advantage of a great evenings observing and imaging.
