banners Posted June 23, 2016 Share Posted June 23, 2016 When I bought my 'scope it came equipped with a single slow motion cable. The RA has been controlled with a knob mounted to the EQ5 but I saw the simple nature of the slow motion cable and the ease of not knocking the tube about whilst adjusting it. I should have just swapped them over, I know I had to buy the handle (Wilkos) but had / could make the rest. A cheap tool set gave up the flexible drive shaft and the brass I drilled and tapped to suit. Handle is glued and screwed to secure. T'was a pleasant lunch break! Hopefully the skies will clear soon and I'll be able to test it thoroughly.
