put the aerial up yesterday much to her disgust and spent a while tuning it in and got a good few hits about 1 every 2 mins after midnight

Seems to be working well there.

Nice one, just in time for the Persids.

 

That's not a bad aerial, nothing compared to the old CB ones. :D

Why the disgust? It's not that obtrusive, unless you have it on top of the telly or outside on a 40 foot tower. :)

Nice traces Steve.  I hadn't see these before.  Looks like it's picking up meteors.
