... but I think this is pretty good for a camera on a still tripod. 24 light frames and 18 dark frames. 300mm FL, ISO 6400, 2.5 seconds exposure.

I wonder if the mods / admin would entertain the idea of 'worst picture of the month' ?

I think i'd be in with a shout there......:lol:

 

Heres my 'bad' M45 from 4 and a half years ago when the mount died on me.

1 light frame. 0 dark frames. 200mm fl, f/7.1 iso 800, 30sec exposure. 

The big blob was when Venus paid a visit to the 7 sisters.
