Hopefully in the very near future i will have a crack at guiding, set tup is as follows

sw200p on a EQ6 mount

canon 1000D

qhy5L-11 guide camera using a qhy guide camera F/L 130mm f4.3

I will be using  phd2 and using APT to capture subs etc this also has dithering built in (in the global tab dithering set to 12 as thats what i was told to use for my 1000D for dithering )

Can anyone tell me do these settings look correct and do i need to tick the box  dithering in RA.

Dave, out of interest I never got on with PHD2 and like a lot of folk I use PHD1.14.2 with no bother! Worth loading it up as a back up??

Cheers

Downloaded phd 1.14.2 it seems a lot simplified than phd2 which you have to put in your camera settings is that correct ?
