looks good and not grainy on my screen, i also found that windows photo viewer does not do images justice, but what can help massively is a good quality and calibrated screen and of course a good digital graphics card, also the correct colour profile, i.e. srgb rather than just rgb or something else as there can be a fair few colour profiles to choose from., i`m now using a full hd screen and digital cables from the graphics card to the monitor, now when i`ve finished and saved an image in photoshop it looks very good on other photo viewers and when reduced in size for the internet, you can spend up to £500 for a monitor, too expensive for me but you can get ones out there for about £150, less second hand, it`s helped me greatly as my old cheap 17" HP monitor was rubbish and was not doing my images any justice.
