Excellent work John, anything that makes a session easier to set up is a good thing, and it makes it more likely to happen too! ?

That's fabulous John. Well done making them easier to use. With or without a bad back that has to be so much more convenient. You can't just sling them round your neck like most bins:2thumbsup:

Thanks guys, the trolley has really saved the day, it's a little precarious over my rough garden but it works well. Got a superb view of the moon last night and a quick look at Jupiter revealed the 4 main moons nicely lined up, also visible was some detail in the main equatorial belts and as number of belts above and below the main ones, cracking sight.

I have just ordered the Skywatcher chair in a further attempt to reduce stress on my back!

Wow, that is some pair of binos John. Puts my 10x42s to shame. I know too well about health issues and restrictions on kit, got rid of some big stuff this year cos I just couldn't manage it.

Crikey has anyone else used the Skywatcher Chair? Absolutely lethal in my opinion, set up as per instructions, sat on it rather gingerly moved just a tad and then slid straight to the floor! The whole point of this is to try and preserve what's left of my knackered back and now i'm dosed up with painkillers!!! Just arranged a return. Avoid would be my advice. Now looking at a notched wood arrangement like the Kendrick.

John : i use a 'musicians chair' , by Mey chair systems.

Very sturdy and highly functional.

FLO sell them, but mine was purchased direct from the Fatherland.

Take a look. I can recommend them.

This is the one I use. Great little chair, lots of height adjustment, nice and stable and comfy, and most importantly comparably cheap.

I thought sw had fixed the problems with their chair, obviously not!

I'm sure you won't be disappointed, think there's a few people with this one.

It does go fairly low anyway. Let us know what you think.

Yep the "ironing seat" is so much better than the skywatcher chair. No worries about anything giving way and its a lot less cumbersome and at below half the price of the skywatcher it's a no brainer!
