"Nobody does constellations any more" Lyra

I saw this quote in a magazine about a decade ago. Why not, though? If someone likes doing them and a few others like looking at them, then someone should do them.

 

So if you like my Lyra shot and fancy trying it yourself, I used a DSLR at 100mm ISO 6400 and 6 seconds exposure. DSS stacked 9 of 14 frames and I finished in GIMP.

I like constellation images. You have an incredible amount of stars in that. 

 

You have the star cluster Stephenson 1, the Delta Lyrae cluster near the middle, which very is rarely imaged.

I must admit I did zoom right in to try and see the ring neb! Ok, too ambitious, but the 'double double' stands out!
