Saturn V on cables.

My latest engineering project. It hasn't come down yet, so all good haha.

I tethered nylon around two points (first stage & second stage) with the third stage having a redundancy tether, just in case it comes off!

The wire cable is rated at 35kg, with the nylon fit for an easy 10kg.

I think the saturn v weighed in at just under 2kg.

Nice one, I have mine on the stands on the fire place in the lounge, the Mrs quite likes it ( :o ), so it's staying there.

How come your missing the nose cone at the very front?

Nice one Martin.

Just an idea try some invisible wire that way it would look like it's flying by itself.

But I like the OTT adjustable tie bars (that have a max load index of 175kg) ?

I think It looks good upright too! You're lucky, my wife like her flowers there, but she did build the second stage and buy it ?

Well spotted. Not sure ? hopefully I can find it!
