Picture of the Month June 2017

Blimey that went fast, it's that time again. Some brave folks have been out there imaging even with the light nights, well done.

Deep Sky

Globs are one of my favourite visual and imaging targets and Red dwarf has done M13 justice here

Grahams been getting out and taking some excellent images of some often and some not often visited objects, a good spread of subjects

and a ghostly North American nebula https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13087-american-nebula-11-x-60-secs-real-time-stack-in-astrotoaster/

wolfman_55 gave us an image of the Eagle Nebula via iTelescope https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/12988-itelescope-m16/

Even I had a play with itelescope on NGC3199 in the skies daarn saarf https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13095-ngc3199/

Bassinghamobservatory gave us a nice bit of Astronomy with 3 supernovas in one night

Lunar

Only one submission this month.

Solar

Only three folks out imaging the Sun this month

Graham started the month off with https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13035-solar-today-01062017/ and then gave us

However Ibbo is the star this month, geddit ;) , with a fine array of images

well done Steve, keep em coming.

Widefield

A nice Lagoon from wolfmann_55 using one of itelescopes TAK106s https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13051-lagoon-nebula-and-friends/

So without further ado the Picture of the Month this month goes to Graham with his NGC 6820 and NGC 6823,

https://www.eastmidlandsstargazers.org.uk/topic/13098-ngc-6820-and-ngc-6823-from-tonight-20062017/

I like this picture. It's not a target I have seen very often, it's taken and processed well and my hat goes off to Graham for the stamina required to take so many interesting pics for us in what is one of the most difficult months to image.

Nice ones folks, keep em coming.

Well done Graham. I really like that particular DSO. So much of interest in that pic. :2thumbsup:

Graham was up against some stiff competition from everyone else as well as all his other entries! :)
