I am not sure what I think about this, it's probably the fact that they have just chucked this up there without any consideration for other users of the night sky that I think is discourteous. At the brightness of it, it would have properly mucked up any subs it went through. Now it is just a useless breadbin sized missile doing 17000 Mph waiting to smash up something useful up there. I hope they won't bother with a second attempt to put a dazzling beacon up there.
