After a couple of aborted attempts at imaging from the US and Spain this week I was a bit disappointed asI wanted to try some LRGB but gremlins and weather got in the way.

I was sat on the settee this afters and thought I would take a look at the weather in Aus, and great stuff,  the Tak106 (scope T12)  was free and the weather was good so I shot as much as I dared before sunrise at Sidings Springs.

This is 8 minutes, yes 8 minutes! 2 mins L, 2 R, 2G and 2B. I shot more Luminence but clouds got in the way. I was gob smacked at the amount of photons that this set up can grab in the dark unpolluted skies down there. Not much of a fancy picture but it was a good practice for my LRGB combining in Maxim. Oh and it is a massive crop as this set up has a big FOV.
