I'm definitely giving up on this for now.

Around 10 hours of data, 2 hours of each:

Ha = Red, SII = Dark red (blended in after the stack), OIII = Green & Wideband Blue = Blue (an idea i got from an image by the European Southern Observatory)

Atik 314l+ on ED80 with finder guider and spc880 webcam. 600 second subs, stacked in Maxim, Layered in Photoshop and a lot of messing about with various setting but still not managed to get the colours I wanted from it but still different to most I feel.

The mix of Sii and Ha is something like that yes, I don't exactly remember what I did to be honest as there were lots of goes at it. I'm not happy with it just yet, I seem to have lost some detail somewhere along the way so will probably try processing it again at some point. My eyes were squiffy after staring at this for about 3 hours.

Sorry Alan misread that.

Ha as red with overlay 50%ish of Sii.

Oiii as green

Wideband blue as blue.

Sii is actually the bottom end of the visible toward infrared.
