Same here on the 200p. Although only when at a big phase over 75% or so. How long did the 10000 frames take Graham?

It's a good image. Just wondered that was all. It looks a little soft to me and wondered if it was due to the time over which it was running for. Probably not then. It becomes increasingly difficult to focus when in the bigger phases since there's less contrast to help you.

Mike it was a real pain to focus. 

I use a SW electronic focuser but it is set up for a 10 - 1 ratio focuser the ST 80 only has a standard R & P.

I was going back and forth like an idiot for ages :facepalm: trying to get it to stop in the right place.

When using a webcam that has gamma control, for focus drop the gamma a bit to increase contrast.

 

But move it back to normal for capture ;)

 

you can always drop it again at the processing satge - but not in capture.
