I'm sure there'll be a revolution at some stage that allows scopes with perhaps 20" Dob performance to fold away into your pocket. :)

 

You still might need to carry a mount and tripod, but anti-gravity and image stabilisation might help solve that bit. :lol:

 

Things could be really amazing.

We should've all had flying cars and robots tending our every need by now, so it might take a while. I'm sure this technology currently costs millions for 2" scope equivalent performance.
