Don't laugh! My first ever RGB image with Hydrogen Alpha...No idea what i'm doing. NGC1499 California nebula. 3x5 minutes HA & 3x1 minute for RGB. More subs needed for sure, grabbed between clouds. Starlight Xpress SXV-9H, Astronomik Type 2 RGB & Ha filters, SW150p

Was just trying to get the spacing between the corrector and camera right and couldn't resist. ;)

That's a great first image.

 

I'm experimenting with narrowband which I guess is similar. Struggling to get enough data at the moment........
